The five-time NBA champion, San Antonio Spurs will face the three-time champion Miami Heat, on Saturday, December 17 at the CDMX Arena in the NBA Mexico City Game 2022, which corresponds to the 31st game of the league in Mexico.
The Spurs have played six games in Mexico, while the Heat have played one. The Spurs’ most recent meeting in Mexico was a 121-119 overtime win against the Phoenix Suns in 2019, while the Heat defeated the Brooklyn Nets 101-89 in 2017.
The NBA in Mexico has some 30 million fans and an estimated 2.7 million are located on social media in Spanish such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
The game will reach fans in more than 200 countries and territories around the world through television, digital media and social media.
