Monterey, NL. The hearing in which former Governor Jaime Rodríguez Calderón and three other former officials appeared privately and virtually, before Control Judge Juan Roberto Ortíz Pintor for the alleged abuse of authority in the case of the requisition of the Ecovía, was suspended and it was deferred for Sunday, April 10, because the former president presented health problems.
Two hours after the hearing began, the former governor reportedly presented stomach problems and his defense attorneys requested that the hearing be postponed.
According to the newspaper El Norte, one of the defense attorneys commented “(the hearing) is going to be postponed because the defenders were not transferred with due opportunity with the folder.”
In context, this morning a specialist doctor appeared to review the health status of the Bronco, however, he did not make any statement upon leaving the prison.
