“The patient continues to adhere to the postoperative pain management protocol. Within this process, a cervical-thoracic corset was adapted that will allow better mobility. and support in their rehabilitation process”, indicated the University Clinic of La Sabana.
And it is that, when confirming the injuries presented by the current champion of the Giro d’Italia, several surgeries have been performed, the last two were this January 28.
In addition, there was a “maxillo-facial procedure, to stabilize the dento-alveolar fractures that he presented in the mouth”.
The Colombian rider was subjected to two surgeries, after having an important advance in his recovery. “Egan Bernal has undergone surgery in three opportunities and now hopes to continue advancing in the different complications of health left by his accident with the back of a bus in our country”.
