The director of Health Area IV, Jesus Suardiaffirmed this Friday that in the demarcation that he supervises, daily fumigation sessions are carried out against the dengueno matter how many cases are being reported.
“Us we do not stop fumigationregardless of what there is an outbreak or not. There is fumigation every day,” he stated.
According to Dr. Suardí, this Friday there was an intervention in Christ the King and fumigation day in Villa Consuelowhere they were detected “some bugs”.
“We do it collectively: decacharrización, cleaning and fumigation”, added the doctor about the process to exterminate mosquitoes Aedes aegypti, virus transmitters.
He asked for more support from the city council so that, together with the community, everyone collaborates in the process to eliminate the junk and mosquito breeding sites.
“Until now, Area IV is free, it’s been days since they do not report cases of dengue, because that is what we do constantly, every day, we intervene in a neighborhood. We already fumigated the entire riverbank Ozama and the Isabela”, he added.
The tour begins at the head of the La Ciénega bridge, along the banks of the Ozama River until it reaches the Isabela River.
The official called on the population to contribute to the elimination of mosquito breeding sites, to cover the water containers and spread a little chlorine on their shore.
He invited the other Health Areas to carry out workshops fumigationis special, to Area II, since both are separated by the waters of the mentioned rivers.
