Samuel Jaimes Machado, 65 years old, was murdered with a knife that was stabbed in several parts of his body, an incident that occurred inside his apartment located in the Cotoperí residence, Los Naranjos, El Hatillo municipality (Miranda).
Initial reports indicate that last Monday afternoon Machado received a visit from his trusted mechanic who came to visit with his wife. This man attacked Samuel with a knife until he died and they fled.

A murder that occurred inside a building was that of Luis Felipe Meleán (64) who was shot eight times by a subject last Thursday afternoon in La Cañada de Urdaneta (Zulia). Meleán was an agricultural producer, according to relatives.
Also in Zulia, Cicpc agents arrested Orlando López, another of the alleged perpetrators of the murder of Noel Jesús Urbina Medina (46), which occurred in the Haticos por Arriba sector, Cristo de Aranza parish, Maracaibo Municipality, Zulia, on June 14.
According to the report published by the scientific police, Noel was with Angel Ascanio (24), Lopez and Luis Villalobos (33), the latter still to be captured. They were drinking alcoholic beverages and in the middle of that evening a dispute arose which caused them to attack the victim whom they hit repeatedly, a situation that caused his immediate death.
López was arrested in the El Poniente sector, Maracaibo’s main avenue, when he was trying to flee to Colombia, according to the Cicpc report.
Another person investigated for homicide was arrested in Caripito and was identified as Juan Campos (24). This subject killed José Eulices García Mosqueda, 28 years old, with a knife, during the festivities of the Day of the Virgin of the Valley, which took place in the town of Quiriquire. Apparently Campos did not accept that his ex-partner had made the decision to resume the sentimental relationship that he had previously had with García. From there Campos attacked García in the presence of the woman.
And in Los Magallanes de Catia, Sucre parish, Libertador municipality of Caracas, Cicpc agents arrested Francisco Palma (32), for the crime of violence against his former 33-year-old partner. The investigations showed that the incident occurred in a house located in Plaza Catia where the man demanded the end of the relationship. The subject bit her on the face, removing a piece of skin from one of her nostrils, the report details.
