Naked and on the bed of a rented room, in a residence located in the Pueblo Nuevo sector of the Bejuco corregimiento, in the Chame district, the bodies of a man and a woman were found, who were lying dead. Both victims had foam at the mouth.
The first signs indicate that it is a poisoning and according to the authorities, preliminary everything points to a femicide and subsequent suicide.
According to residents of the area, this couple had lived in the place for about 2 years.

Staff from the Homicide and Femicide section of the Public Ministry, the National Police and experts from the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences arrived at the scene.
Both bodies were transferred to the judicial morgue where an autopsy will be performed and the initial version of femicide-suicide will be confirmed or ruled out.
