Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata defeated Defense and Justice this Saturday 1-0 for the sixth round of the Argentine Professional Football League Tournament and provisionally climbed to the top of the standings.

For its part, el Tigre and Talleres de Córdoba equaled 1-1 and Godoy Cruz won 1-0 against Colón de Santa Fe. Cordobeses and Santa Fe also preserved their best strongholds for the definition of the Argentine crossing of the Libertadores round of 16.
Yesterday, at the beginning of the sixth date, Boca Juniors lost 0-3 at home against Banfield and Argentinos Juniors defeated Central Córdoba 1-2 in Santiago del Estero.
