The Minister of Economy, Martín Guzmán, assured that the Government intends to maintain “the same goals designed in the original program”, with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), in terms of reducing the fiscal deficit, accumulation of reserves and reduction of financing of the Treasury with monetary issue.
In a forum organized by the Diario de Río Negro, in San Carlos de Bariloche, Guzmán maintained that “what will be adapted are the projections in an international context, which is one of uncertainty for the whole world and has turned inflation in the main international problem”.
He considered that “to reassure the economy it is essential to have a comprehensive set of conditions such as an inclusive productive structure, that there is more stability from the generation of more foreign exchange and more exports, and with more dynamics from the productive.”
The minister assured that “it is not enough to distribute, we also need to grow and add value.”
