Likewise, within the framework of the line that his group will have, he maintained that they will differ from “certain sectors of the left”, because they do not believe in a “representative democracy, but in a participatory one.”
“It cannot be that people on the left end up embracing the right, that they send each other flowers and compliments and that they vote together. There are things that are unacceptable to the majority of the population and not only to people on the left, but to any decent person in the country,” he added.
Regarding their participation in the next elections, Bermejo stressed that they will do so when they meet all the requirements, but he stressed that the elections are not the only goal of his party.
“Until now, Peru has been managed as if it were someone else’s property, everything they have found, the only thing they can think of is to end up selling it abroad, without worrying about the basic needs of the homeland, generating work within the homeland. Making wealth benefit the majority”, indicated the legislator.

Bermejo, who came to Parliament in the ranks of Peru Libre, announced on July 7 the creation of the Voces del Pueblo party and that the official presentation would take place at the premises of the National Agrarian Confederation.
The congressman is currently a member of the Democratic Peru coalition together with Betssy Chávez, Hamlet Echevarría, Roberto Kamiche, Nieves Limachi, Héctor Valer and Carlos Zeballos. This partisan force was founded after the resignation of a sector from the pencil caucus.
