Santo Domingo.- The Dominican diplomat kidnapped for four days in Haiti, Carlitin Guillen Tatis, narrated this Friday that during his captivity in the neighboring nation he lived through difficult and traumatic days.
Guillen Tatis also stated that his belief and his faith in God was what led to his release last Wednesday.
The agricultural council of the Dominican embassy in Haiti offered their statements after being subjected to a process of analysis and studies at the Doctor Ramón De Lara Military Teaching Hospital of the Air Force of the Dominican Republic; accompanied by the minister of Public healthDr. Daniel Rivera.

Dr. Rivera, after verifying the health conditions of Guillen Tatis, guaranteed that he will be provided with all the assistance he requires to guarantee his physical and mental well-being after having gone through this traumatic situation.
Dr. Rivera said that the studies on Guillen Tatis, directed by Medical Colonel José Darío Richardson López, seek to determine his state of health, after he was released safe and sound last Wednesday.
The diplomat, who is in good health, was received at the Ramón De Lara Military Teaching Hospital by its director, Medical Colonel José Darío Richardson López, FARD, and accompanied, in addition, by Surgeon General Luis Luciano Díaz Morfa, ERD. ; where they immediately underwent a general medical check-up.
Also present at the meeting were Internal Medicine Colonel Ramón N. Familia Alcántara, FARD; Medical-Scientific Deputy Director, with whom the minister also exchanged opinions on different health issues, among which the excellence in academic training, the application of new technologies, the quality of services, as well as the humanization in the treatment of patients, “this being the main characteristic that must prevail in the exercise of the medical profession”.
