Guaraní returns quickly to the path of the three points

Tacua officiated at the Kelito Gardens against Fernando Jubero’s Guaraní at the close of matchday 19 of the Apertura 2022 tournament.

The commitment had an incidental start since it suffered a momentary suspension due to problems in the stadium’s lighting system. After a few minutes of waiting, football resumed without major inconvenience.

Alberto ‘Piru’ Contrera scored the first goal after half an hour of play after a lethal counterattack initiated by goalkeeper Aldo Sebastián Pérez. Low and powerful shot that left the experienced Carlos Servin in the dust.

The cast of Dos Bocas was able to widen their advantage, but the VAR deprived them of a goal scored by their striker Fernando Fernández when he confirmed an advanced position in the previous play.

Things got even more complicated for Tacuary with the expulsion of Marcos Benítez (78′) with a direct red card for assaulting a rival.

We had to wait until 83′ to experience the second legendary cry, this time by a Maradonian inspiration from the youthful Bernardo Benítez.

Final and victory for Guaraní, who thus returns to the path of three points after three wins in a row and a draw (in the previous day). El Indio reached the Resistencia line (both with 28) and now ranks fourth by goal difference.

For his part, Tacuary does not finish lighting and apparently the departure of Robert Pereira affected the campus more than expected. It stagnates in ninth place with 20 points and no margin of error in the rigorous table of averages.

The entrance Guaraní returns quickly to the path of the three points was first published in diary TODAY.
