More than 3 thousand entrepreneurs, managers, investors and different actors of the ecosystem attended the first EtMday Concepción 2022: Regional Entrepreneurship and Innovation Meeting, which took place on Wednesday, October 5 and Thursday, October 6, in Suractivo.

The EtMday Concepcion 2022had the important support of the University of Concepcionentity that co – organized the meeting that, for two full days, was the space for the development of 6 themed Contact Wheelss, where managers and entrepreneurs were able to connect with entrepreneurs to do business. A total of 554 connections were generated in this activity.
In addition, at the event, there were 120 personalized mentoring in charge of the 4 networks of mentors of Concepción. In the event there were also 6 Workshops, where the one of Francesca Broomr, Co-founder and CEO of TheKickass Company and MDA Chile, on how to successfully create your online store with Shopify and that of Sergio GajardoFounder of Warketing.
Also, there was 9 Conversation Panels by the participating organizations, 9 Talks led by leaders of the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem and 22 events on the Main Stage.
Among the activities carried out at the event, the talks given by Inti Núñez, Strategy Director of the University of Concepción, Mónica Álvarez, President of the Buses Hualpén board of directors, Álvaro Ananías, President of the CPC Biobío, the ProChile panel led by Andrés O’Ryan, Country Manager Chile for Betterfly; David Fernández, Manager Endeavor Biobío; Javier Sepúlveda, Seremi Economy Biobío; Beatriz Millán, Incuba Executive Director of the UdeC, the Avonni regional award, where 10 finalists of the renowned award presented their projects on the main stage and the Reverse Pitch of the UdeC.
This event that seeks to “even the field”, connecting the “unlikely pairs” for the entire ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation, in a space of connection with the most important companies that seek proposals to invest, promote or support, and thus equalize opportunities, bringing us closer to the development of a more equitable and sustainable economy, supporting the growth of the ecosystem, in the transformation process that they require in the face of the current downturn that affects the country, will return to Concepción in 2023.
