The governor of Potosí, Jhonny Mamani, came out in front of the complaints against him for the case of the ghost ambulances and crashed against the press that followed the process, accusing them of being part of the “right” and affirmed: “No I don’t care, damn, what the media says.”
The governor alluded to the case at an event in the north of the department, where the sectors that support him were concentrated.
“When the right attacks against us, it is because we have committed a simple crime, working hand in hand with our people, what we promise we fulfill, we are not ‘poster lie’, like some media,” said the governor.
Then he harangued: “And we don’t care, I have to be honest, I don’t give a damn what the media say, we have come to work for our people.”
His statement generated applause among those attending the public event.

The lawyer of the company Zegarra Motors, whose NIT was used for the tender in an irregular manner, and the opposition maintain that the government is trying to cover up the Potosi authority.
The basis for this conclusion arose after the Minister of Justice, Iván Lima, indicated that there are 17 officials under investigation, pointed out that criminal action was opened against the owners of the companies and did not say anything about the governor, the highest executive authority of the Government. .
“The most surprising thing now is that the government is trying to cover up for the governor. Everyone is responsible, there are officials, companies… except the governor. This is what surprises me,” said Richard Alejo, a lawyer for Zegarra Motors.
