This Thursday, May 29, the governor of Santa Cruz, Luis Fernando Camacho, is expected to sign in the La Paz Chonchocoro prison the prioritization letter of road Okinawa – Industrial Park, to request financing from the Andean Development Corporation (CAF).
This information was confirmed by the Secretary of Economic Development of the Government, Édgar Landívar, upon arrival at Viru Viru International Airport from the capital of Santa Cruz from a flight from La Paz, where he traveled with some leaders from Okinawa.
Landívar claimed the “tricks” of the authorities of the national Executive, because they did not let him enter the office of the Vice Ministry of Transportation, Wilfredo Gutiérrez, where the meeting was scheduled, despite being officially scheduled; Only the mayor of Cotoca and the leaders of social organizations entered.
He stated that he was puzzled and surprised to learn that the road prioritization letter has been signed by the Minister of Public Works since December of 2021, without notifying the Government, thus hindering the construction of the highway.
“The minister hid this letter of Public Works”, he lamented and said that this caused the construction of this highway to be delayed.
Landívar pointed out that, this Thursday, the letter will be sent to the Chonchocoro de La Paz prison to be signed by the governor, Luis Fernando Camacho, to start the process of the obtaining credit for Bs 47 million before the CAF.
