The Government Spokesperson Minister, Camila Vallejoconfirmed that the government will file a complaint for the arson attack carried out by hooded men in Contulmo (located in the Biobío region), on Friday night.
“The delegation is going to file complaints about what happened in Contulmo,” Vallejo said about the attack that left 15 homes burned and was awarded by the Resistencia Mapuche Lavkenche (RML) group.

“I simply want to remind those who have a short-term memory, this is important to point out: we regret the attack that took place in the buildings during these last days, but only in December 2021 there were attacks with a state of exception 31 buildings, and no interpellations or anything like that were presented,” added the spokeswoman.
“We have been here for three weeks, we are working intensely, but in three weeks we are not going to solve the problems that we have had for decades and that no government has been able to solve before, no government, by applying the recipes that we already know,” he added.
In addition, he left a message to the opposition. “Based on your experience, your failures, mistakes and successes, contribute and collaborate with this government to find the best ways forward, because quite recently its policies and measures did not have good results,” he said.
