The Minister of Health, Jeyson Auza announced this Saturday the delivery of a Biministerial Resolution to reopen the Montero Hospital, and blamed the Government of Santa Cruz for the delays and delays. “We want to clarify that, for the elaboration of this bi-ministerial Resolution, we have just received the necessary documentation on Wednesday, that is to say that Thursday and Friday, in two days, in record time, we have been able to carry out the Resolution that authorizes the salary scale of the establishments of third level health of the department of Santa Cruz”, indicated Auza.
In his argument, the authority said that the Departmental Health Service of Santa Cruz (Headquarters) did not present the complete documentation, that is, regarding the salary scale signed by Governor Luis Fernando Camacho for the operation of that hospital.

He said that the budget form was not available either, therefore, the Central Government cannot be accused of delaying the opening of the hospital, because it was the administrative errors of the Government that prevented the aforementioned resolution from being approved.
He described the civic strike that is observed on the route that connects Santa Cruz de la Sierra with the municipality of Montero as “foolish.” He announced that the resolution will make it possible to speed up the procedures to reopen the Oscar Urenda Hospital, after completing some administrative processes.
Some sectors of the city of Montero and the Pro Santa Cruz Civic Committee carry out a blockade for the fourth consecutive day on the road to the Integrated North, demanding that the Government proceed to reopen that hospital, which has been closed since September 2021. .
