Government assures that it will comply with late payments to the supplier of the 25-pound gas tank subsidy

Through a statement, the National Government indicated that it will comply with the overdue payments to the importer and supplier of cooking gas Petroport SA, for the subsidy of the 25-pound tank to avoid shortages.

“The credit approved on September 29 by the National Assembly in a liquid payment and will proceed to pay through the administrative process what was already approved,” said the Executive.

According to a statement issued yesterday Wednesday by the company, there is currently a debt with the industry for $65 million, despite having approved transfers of items in the Budget Commission of the National Assembly, for an amount of B/.114,297,140.00 , of which a total of $60 million would be to meet the payment.
