The Secretary of State pointed out that “since it is a work that has technical complexities, that we care about doing it well and properly programming its work, coordination is being made between the Highway Department and the company to start the work on the ground in August of this year”. The authority added that “in this way, in the second half of next year, we will be able to have the bridge operational as it was initially conceived.”

As detailed by the portfolio led by Minister García, the work, which involves an investment of 12 billion pesos, will be carried out by the company Fe Grande SA, which during the coming months will have to complete the rehabilitation and operation of the Cau Cau Bridge in accordance with established safety standards.
