In educational centers, the immunization operation will be carried out until July 13 to serve children from 2 years of age
As a reinforcement measure for vaccination against covid-19, the government of Nicolás Maduro activated the Reinforcement Vaccination Plan in 19,400 points deployed throughout the national territory.
In this sense, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez highlighted that in educational centers the immunization operation will be carried out until July 13 to care for children from 2 years of age and the first, second and third dose will be applied, as well as other immunizations against measles, rubella, yellow fever, among others.

From the Francisco Pimentel Educational Unit, in Caracas, Rodríguez highlighted the increase in positive cases of the virus that has been registered in recent weeks in the country, for which he urged the population that has not yet been immunized to do so and those who already have one or two vaccines to apply the booster.

“The vaccine protects us from getting seriously infected. The call is to vaccinate children from two years of age and all Venezuelans. Here are all the free vaccines,” she said.
Venezuela to date has 526,454 confirmed cases of covid, of which 518,663 people have recovered, which represents 99% of infections. The Minister of Communication and Information, Freddy Ñáñez, stressed that “we have 2,057 active cases, 414 are being treated in the public health system, 89 in private clinics and 1,554 in supervised community care.”
“To date we have 1,282 patients who are asymptomatic, 632 with mild Acute Respiratory Failure, 107 with Moderate Acute Respiratory Failure and 36 in the Intensive Care Unit,” he said.
