The Argentine women’s field hockey team beat South Korea 4-0 on Saturday, in their debut at the XV Spain-Netherlands World Cup, where they are looking for the third title in their rich history, and this Sunday they will have their second match against the local Spain at the Olympic Stadium in the city of Terrassa.
Las Leonas will play from 4:30 p.m., and the game can be followed by the ESPN signal and the Star + platform.
The world champions in Perth 2002 and Rosario 2010 prevailed in their presentation at the Olympic Stadium in the Catalan city of Terrassa with two goals from Agustina Gorzelany, one from Victoria Granatto and another from Julieta Jankunasin a match corresponding to Group C of the tournament.

The 26-year-old player wearing jersey number 3 had been the top scorer in the FIH Pro League, the annual national team tournament that Las Leonas won this year undefeated (13 wins and three draws in 16 games). Gorzelany was the top scorer with 12 points, Argentina was the team with the highest scorer (43) and finished with the second least defeated goal (18).
Las Leonas, silver medalist in the last Olympic Games in Tokyo, arrived at the World Cup with a very good sporting record this year, as they were champions of the Pan American Cup in Chile, where they got a ticket to the World Cup, and recently won the FIH Pro League.
