Get to know the most dynamic sectors in hiring and talent improvements in Panama

According to PageGroup’s 2022 Remuneration Study for Central America, the rules of the game that once worked to maintain employee productivity no longer respond to current needs.

According to Juliana Otávaro, spokeswoman for PageGroup, 44.3% of the professionals surveyed consider that they are more productive in hybrid work models and flexible time. At the same time, she pointed out that banking and finance, health and technology are the most dynamic sectors in hiring and improving talent in Panama.

Six out of ten Panamanian companies surveyed plan to invest in digital transformation technology and tools; but they need the trained talent to carry out these processes.

According to Otávaro, some Panamanian companies have begun to apply less orthodox strategies to attract qualified personnel for the new market challenges and talent expectations.
