Entrepreneurs who perceive themselves as successful

Entrepreneurs who perceive themselves as successful

During the last internships, back in 2017, Santi Peña proposed to establish a fee or a fee increase for those who study or want to study at the National University, and the argument was that the students came from families with many resources. That same day a study carried out within the university itself revealed another reality. 8 out of 10 UNA students use public transport to go to class, this transport clearly does not include the Metrobus, even a percentage goes by bicycle or walks. More than half of the students depend on what their family gives them, and most of these families put together two minimum wages or less per month. 70% of students do not work.

One thing is the reality on the street, and another thing is the reality of someone who earns more than 100 million guaraníes and who later wants us to believe that he has no boss, wants to convince us that there is no money laundering in Paraguay and that contraband is a Brazilian problem.

The bubbles generated by entrepreneurs who perceive themselves as successful, but who actually have a business model that is impossible to sustain with a legal basis, are the ones who are unbalancing the local market. Putting people’s financial security at risk. And this will only be felt directly over time. At the moment, an artificial success falls in love with many while it destroys the dreams of honest workers and entrepreneurs.

We have to focus on the daily reality of the citizen, this week it may be that the Senate deals again with the bill that we unanimously managed to continue promoting and that will allow many taxpayers to discount 100% of VAT on food and household products , generating direct savings for families and collaborating with the formalization of trade, a successful blow against smuggling.

We still haven’t been able to discuss it in session, but the Banco del Pueblo project is already in commissions, which is nothing more than a credit offer that comes out of the BNF, so that people can access credit with low rates, months of grace and even if are in inforconf can get help that private banking today refuses to give.

In recent days, the discussion about the claims we are making to the Attorney General of the State has overshadowed other actions that arise from Congress and that have significant citizen support. That the differences in conjunctural issues do not blur us from the objective that the vast majority has in the session, to help citizens to get ahead despite the international crisis that affects us all and over which we have no control. If we generate the opportunities, the Paraguayan men and women respond.
