The pre-candidate for the presidency for the ruling Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD) Gaby Carrizo toured the Ngäbe Buglé Comarca, specifically in the districts of Müna and Ñurúm, where he was received by more than three thousand people with traditional dances and handmade gifts.
As in the first day of the tour of Santa Catalina, Kankintú and Pueblo Nuevo, Carrizo received the support of the pre-candidates of both districts and supporters to whom he entrusted the mission of going out to vote early on June 11.
Carrizo stressed that the PRD and the Nito government recognize the value of the native peoples and their needs and that is why under the current administration the law creating the Naso Region was promulgated and also recalled that it was in a government of this party that the Ngäbe Buglé Comarca was created.
He added that thanks to the correct public policies of the Cortizo administration, more than 4 thousand people in the Ngäbe Buglé Comarca have overcome the line of poverty and extreme poverty.
