The president of Chile, Gabriel Boric, laments the “double standard of the left” that condemns the actions of rulers in countries such as Yemen or El Salvador, but does not speak of the human rights violations committed by regimes in Latin America such as those of Nicaragua or Venezuela.
During his participation in the World Leaders program at Columbia University, Boric referred to human rights violations mainly in the Central American country.
