Members of the Coordinator of Public Officials and Decentralized Entities demand a salary increase of 15%, which according to them corresponds to them by law. They assure that there is also a commitment signed by the Government.
On the esplanade of the Congress, the members of the Coordination of Guilds of Public Officials and Decentralized Entities and of the Fraternal Guilds meet this morning.
The spokeswoman for the judicial union, Porfiria Ocholasky, warned that they will not stop fighting for the 15% salary increase.
“If it doesn’t happen, the constitutional tool of resorting to mobilizations, to strikes, is never ruled out because it is a constitutional right that we have,” he said in an interview with Universo 970 AM – Nación Media.
He explained that there are more than 300,000 officials who are requesting this increase, not including military, police and white personnel, who are governed by another regime.
Ocholasky recalled the commitment signed with Vice President Hugo Velázquez, where they were promised that if the readjustment was not applied this year, it would happen by 2023.
He indicated that if the readjustment is not obtained with a reengineering or expansion, that does not imply that the demand will be renounced, but that they will continue the fight. In the case of judicial officials, the term runs until September.
