Fuel prices in the Dominican Republic

The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Mipymes (MICM) left the price of all fuels for the week of March 19 to 25, according to the new resolution published this Friday.

With the new provision, the gallon of premium gasoline will be sold at 293.60 pesos and that of regular at 274.50 pesos, both maintaining their frozen cost, in relation to the previous week.

Likewise, the gallon of optimal diesel will be sold to the public at 241.10 pesos and that of regular diesel at 221.60 pesos, both prices remaining unchanged.

Similarly, the price of a gallon of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) was frozen and will be offered at 147.60 pesos. Natural gas will be shipped to consumers at 28.97 pesos per cubic meter.

According to the MICM, in order not to pass on the increase in the price of oil to the fuelsthe State will assume 678 million pesos of debt with importers.
