President Laurentino Cortizo announced this Friday that from this Saturday, May 14 until Wednesday, May 18, the Digital Voucher will be disbursed.
Through his Twitter account, the president indicated that some 375,641 Panamanians who met the co-responsibility and criteria established to receive this contribution from the National Government will benefit.
This will be the penultimate recharge of the Digital Voucher, which is part of the new Panama Solidarity Plan.
On December 14, 2021, Cortizo announced that the Digital Voucher would be extended for another 6 months, that is, until June 2022.
So far, the Executive Branch has not decided whether to extend this benefit to the more than 300,000 Panamanians who do not have a job.
The Digital Voucher It consists of a monthly allowance of $120.00 through the personal identity card of the beneficiary, for the purchase of food, hygiene products and medicines.
