Fray Bentos: three years in prison for a man who sold drugs

A 45-year-old man was sentenced to three years in prison after the Police of Black river arrested him for selling drugs in said department. The arrest of the subject occurred after the Departmental Anti-Drug Brigade was launched after the suspicion that in a house located in the streets Guarani and Cardalin the city of Fray Bentos, drugs were sold.

Authorities obtained a search warrant after three months of monitoring the area and collecting evidence. During the intervention, the agents seized four plastic jars with 428 grams of marijuana, two wrappers with base paste and five cell phones, in addition to 2,106 pesos. Paper cuttings, knives and scissors with traces of substances were also found at the site.

In the house, the Police arrested a 45-year-old man, who had a criminal record. When comparing the drug and the paper and nylon clippings seized in the raid with those seized from consumers, it was found that it was the same substance and supplies to prepare the dose.

After leading the subject before the Fray Bentos 3rd Turn legal judge, he sentenced the detainee as the author of a continued crime of drug dealing. For this crime he must serve a sentence of three years and two months in prison.
