Four policemen injured in an ambush

Four police officials were injured after being attacked by members of the criminal group El Mimosín.

This incident occurred last Wednesday when Yaracuy state police patrolled the El Guayabo sector, Veroes municipality (Farriar), Yaracuy state, according to sources from the security agency.

They presume that the criminals fired long weapons at the police and fled. A police-military commission moved to the site to locate the criminal group.

Paramedical personnel transferred the injured to a health center. But the ambulance where they were being taken was also attacked by gangsters.

The Public Ministry opened an investigation.
