Coronavirus in Uruguay: Saturday without deaths, 141 new cases and 17 patients in ICU

Uruguay did not register deaths associated with the coronavirus this Saturday, reported the National Emergency System (Sinae). In addition, in the last 24 hours, 141 new cases of the disease, out of a total of 2,154 tests.

The positivity rate was 6.5%, although duplicate tests are also included in some people (antigen and PCR).

There is 2,069 active cases across the country and 17 people are in intensive care centers, according to the official report. Of the total positive cases, 80 correspond to the health personnel.

Of the 141 new cases, 75 were from Montevideo, 17 from Maldonado, 13 from Canelones, five from Cerro Largo, five from Durazno, five from Rivera, four from Colonia, four from Paysandú, three from Lavalleja, two from Florida, two from Rocha, two from Salto, one from Artigas, one from Flores, one from San José and one from Treinta y Tres.
