Four members of the band Los Drogadictos were arrested in El Valle

Four members of the Los Drogadictos gang were arrested on the intercommunal avenue of El Valle, Libertador municipality, Caracas.

According to judicial reports, it is about an adult, a teenager and two women who were dedicated to dispossessing passers-by of their property, using bladed weapons.

The detention of these individuals occurred as a result of a complaint made by neighbors who reported numerous robberies in the vicinity of the El Valle Metro station in Caracas and surrounding residential complexes. Last Thursday, an elderly man was attacked with knives by these subjects when he was preparing to work in the parking lot of the Don Pedro Residences, according to the complaints.

Due to this, the subjects were captured by agents assigned to the El Valle Police Coordination Center of the Bolivarian National Police.

The detainees were presented before the 38th Court of Control of Caracas where the Public Ministry charged them with the crimes of aggravated robbery, minor injuries and conspiracy. The Court accepted the legal prequalification and assigned the Rodeo III Judicial Confinement Center and the National Institute for Women’s Orientation (Inof) as the detention center, the source explained.
