In addition, according to Ruiz, the Colombian health system has become more sophisticated in the offer of services, which means that today we have very specialized niche institutions that treat various diseases such as diabetes and cancer, among others.
According to Ruiz, this evolution has been possible thanks to the Health Promotion Companies and the current system that has allowed these transformations that place Colombia as a benchmark in specialty care.
