Former Italy player Gianluca Vialli dies

The Italian media confirmed the death of former Italy national team player Gianluca Vialli, at the age of 58 who played the position of center forward and who, as technical director, was leading Chelsea and Watford.

Vialli was at the clubs Cremonese (1980-1984), Sampdoria (1984-1992), Juventus (1992-1996) and Chelsea (1996-1999). As technical director he led Chelsea (1998-2000) and then Watford (2001-2002).

He scored a total of 423 goals during his career that spanned 19 years, while with the Italian National Team he made 33 appearances wearing the Italian shirt and scored a total of 16 goals, he also participated in the World Cups in Mexico 1986 and at home in Italy 1990 where they ranked third.
