This Wednesday, May 24, at 08:30, the former workers of Banco Fassil will gather in the Equipetrol area of ​​the Santa Cruz capital, on the outskirts of the Ambassador building, demanding that the controller of the extinct financial entity, Carlos Colodro, the payment of their owed wages and liquidation.

This was confirmed by the assigned delegate of the former workers, Juan Carlos Alarcón, in contact with EL DEBER on Tuesday night, in time to clarify that the call will be to protest. He pointed out that after this measure, they will go to the offices of the Ministry of Labor to file a lawsuit against the controller and two lawyers before the non-compliance with their salaries.

“Today we met with Colodro, in addition to the lawyers Carlos Farell and Rodrigo Hoz de Vila. They told us that there is no money, they have not defined the payment date or the separation”, Alarcón affirmed to this journalistic house.

He announced that in addition to this protest, early Thursday the former officials of the extinct Banco Fassil belonging to the Integrated North they will start a blockade in the Warnes lock and different bridges that connect with the surrounding municipalities, as a protest measure.

At the national level, there are 4,500 people who worked in the bank, of which 2,500 are in Santa Cruz. Previously, the auditor Carlos Alberto Colodro reported that the majority of the workers will be dismissed.

The delegate stated that they were patient with the situation that the entity was going through and the explanations that the auditor gave them at the time, however, he maintained that the situation is unsustainable and with an uncertain future, added to the fact that a group of officials continue to provide support in Human Resources areas, loan officers, but they have not been canceled either.
