The former director of the National Institute for Women, Nellys Herrera, in a press conference reiterated the accusations of political pressure within the Democratic Revolutionary Party, she gave these statements after her departure from the institution.
“That there are figures within the public administration and specifically within INAMU who have effectively caused chaos and anxiety on behalf of the vice president, we cannot deny that there are a number of officials that I am ashamed to say are our partners,” Herrera said.
He also stressed that he has not received threats from Vice President Carrizo “The vice president has never threatened me, what’s more, I have never had a meeting with the vice president, never, the closest thing I have been is to ask for a vote so that he could arrive.”
