The capital’s prosecutor’s office reported that after being located, José Arturo “N” was arrested on Santa Lucía avenue in the South neighborhood, Álvaro Obregón mayor’s office, for his probable participation in the crime of criminal association.
According to the investigation, this person held the position of Computer and Systems Engineer of the Mexico City Mobility Secretariat (SEMOVI) and also served as one of the main operators of the Manuel Marqués Sterling building from where alleged espionage cases.
This spy center was in charge of intercepting telephone calls, text messages and emails to political figures, including: the then Morenista candidates for the presidency of the republic and for the head of government Andrés Manuel López Obrador and Claudia Sheinbaum , respectively, as well as activists and journalists.
José Arturo “N” was one of the people who, after obtaining data on the objectives, provided this information to Gustavo Alberto “N”, a former public servant of the then Attorney General’s Office.
