The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Félix Plasencia, decorated the Sudanese ambassador, Eltayeb Abdulgassim, with the Francisco de Miranda Order, after completing his diplomatic work in Venezuela.
“We deliver the Francisco de Miranda Order in honor of the Precursor of the Independence of America, who was a messenger of the closeness of the integration of peoples to seal the commitment to continue moving forward together,” Plasencia said on Twitter.
In this way, the foreign minister fired the former head of the Mission of the Sudanese Embassy in Caracas.
“Today, we say goodbye after completing an impeccable job in Venezuela, with sadness but at the same time with joy, for the profit that it leaves in favor of the deepening of bilateral relations between our nations,” Plasencia said in said social network and accompanied his messages of photographic images of his meeting with Eltayeb Abdulgassim.
Diplomatic relations between the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Republic of the Sudan were established on May 4, 2005. They cover several issues, including the value of the Venezuelan mining production chain and the development of lines of research on technologies, production processes and environmental liabilities associated with the mining sector, refers the Vice Presidency of the Republic.
