The president of the Republic, Luis Lacalle Pou, visited the 10to Chicken and Hen Partyan exhibition of the poultry sector that began this Friday in San Bautista, Canelones, and will last until Sunday the 13th. There, the president stressed that this sector “sometimes to blows and understanding the whole chain has been formalized.”

Lacalle Pou congratulated the organizers and wished them success. “Pushing this thing is not easy, it is a very good thing to celebrate this very important activity that involves meat that, if it is not the most consumed in the world, hits the stick”He said.
He also spoke about the sector and stressed the importance that, from the health point of view, producers find “a way to produce homogeneous”, to have “an oiled chainhave insurance when it’s needed, and have the markets.

A horizon in the international market
The head of the MGAP, Fernando Mattos, said that this party “represents the effort of an entire community that lives and works around the sector,” which worldwide “is responsible for generating the world’s main protein.”
