For the femicide of a minor in Tierras Altas, they order provisional detention

A 30-year-old man, accused of femicide and sexual offense to the detriment of a minor in Chiriquí, was placed under provisional detention, after a hearing held this Saturday, November 26.

The fact is related to a femicide that occurred on November 20 in the district of Tierras Altas, when the body of a minor under 17 years of age was located, who according to the necropsy protocol lost her life as a result of multiple injuries and blows that he sustained to the head and face, reported the Public Ministry.

In court, prosecutor Alicia Del Carmen Salinas requested the most severe precautionary measure, pointing out that the accused today maintains a weakened home and work ties, which represents a danger to the investigation. In addition, this person has also been pointed out in other criminal acts of domestic violence.
