Florida interscholastic table tennis championship will be held under professional parameters

“Interscholastic table tennis championship Florida 2022”. This will be the name of the event organized by the Florida Municipal Corporation (Comudef) and the Mall Florida Center and that will have its starting point this Saturday October 1.

The municipal high schools and colleges of the commune of Floridathey will say present in a day that aims to combat the sedentary lifestyle caused by the pandemic and what better than to participate in a tournament that, at the same time, takes place in the context of leaving the mandatory use of masks.

“The objective of this activity, above all, is to empower our students and athletes in the discipline of table tennis. Having an activity of this magnitude for their well-being and quality of life is key”assured the General Secretary of Health and Education of Florida, Janet Fernandez.

Motivate and encourage

According to what is reported from the Florida Board of Education, educational establishments already practice this discipline and, consequently, this instance allows young people to be given the opportunity to participate in a championship held with all professional parameters. Therefore, we will seek to motivate and encourage students so that they can achieve the dream of being athletes of excellence.

The winning student of each series or category will receive a pingpong table for the establishment they represent. Likewise, for him or her, a trophy and a medal. On the other hand, for the second and third places, recognition medals will be awarded.

This sporting event -which will take place between 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.- will take place on Saturday 1 and 2 October and will continue on Saturday 8, and then end on Sunday 9.
