President Gustavo Petro assured at the Hato Grande farm in Sopó, Cundinamarca, that “We are going to change the country”, after the meeting with almost all the officials of his Government.

From 11 in the morning, at the presidential Hacienda Hato Grande, they met all the ministers, the directors of the administrative departments and the senior ministries with the vice-president, Francia Márquez without President Gustavo Petro.

However, around five in the afternoon, Petro arrived by helicopter and joined this meeting that sought to agree on the Government’s route for the coming months.

“We want there to be a popular mobilization, that the population can participate throughout the country to make the National Development Plan that will be executed in the next four yearsyes,” he said at the Hato Grande ranch.

And he added: “We made a great advance in articulation.”

Petro vehemently indicated that “the central axis” of his Government “It is that we are going to change the country.”

Petro indicated that “We are going to change public policies, conceptions that no longer serve, that are self-destructing us as a society, including nature.”
