Dr. Martín Burt, a candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, confirmed to Radio Ñanduti that he is talking with the Governor of Cordillera Hugo Fleitas, to join in the same presidential project and thus confront the president of the Liberal Party, Efraín Alegre. “On the issue of concertation we are together as allies,” he said.
Burt pointed out that he has been in talks with Dr. Hugo Fleitas for some time in order to join the same project and that he has high hopes that it will come to fruition. However, he mentioned that dialogues with other candidates continue.
“We are talking, we must wait a reasonable time and compare the voting intentions, the advantages and disadvantages of the other and see if the two of us remain or one of us becomes number one in the Senate,” he said. He added that the other pre-candidates must also measure their strengths and weaknesses, so they could be left out of parliamentary life for five years.
