First Lady Reacts to Image Criticism from News Reporters

Primera dama reacciona a críticas a la imagen de los reporteros de noticias

The first lady Raquel Arbaje said this Wednesday that the President of the Republic, Louis Abinaderhas been a great ally of journalists and the press.

Arbaje reacted in this way after the criticism generated after the message published on the Twitter social network by the adviser to the Executive Power for the Directorate of Government Strategy and Communication, Maria Altagracia de los Angeles Pena Penaquestioning the image of news reporters on the different television channels.

“You know very well that the first one who has always spoken in favor of the press it’s me, but above all Luis Abinader”, said the wife of the Head of State.

When asked about what the president will do with those officials who “are determined to damage the image of the Government,” the first lady added that “Don’t worry, the president knows what he’s doing”.

What Angelita Peña Peña said

Angelita Peña posted that television channels must take care of the image of their news reporters and their representatives because they are usually ´´badly dressed´´.

“The channels had to take a little more care of the image of their news reporters and their news presenters….caramba! How many ugly and badly dressed people on TV, ”she published.
