First Justice rejected the “negotiations with the regime” of Henrique Capriles and Tomás Guanipa, a fact that was described as “especially outrageous and scandalous”, which led to their political authorization and the delivery of a new electoral card “betraying the unity and popular mandate”
First Justice formalized on Monday 14 the expulsion of six of their militants, including Henrique Capriles and Tomás Guanipa, after being postulated to the elections to choose governors, deputies to the National Assembly and representatives of legislative councils, scheduled for May 25.
In A statementbroadcast on social networks, the party rejected the “negotiations with the regime” of Capriles and Guanipa, a fact that was described as “especially outrageous and scandalous”, which led to their political authorization and the delivery of a new electoral card “betraying the unity and popular mandate.”
All this, the organization insisted, «while the legitimate parties of the country continue to prosecuted and kidnapped by power. All this happens while there are political prisoners, party partners persecuted, tortured, in hiding or exile for thinking differently ».

The former deputies Juan Coynises, Amelia Belisario, Ángel Medina and former governor Pablo Pérez were also expelled from the ranks of First Justice.
«It is not an isolated event. From the primaries, these people have adopted a progressively remote position of the mandate expressed by millions of Venezuelans. Today, that trajectory culminates with its participation in a fraudulent, kidnapped and designed choice to validate the regime, ”said the party in his writing.
First Justice ratified that they are committed “with the democratic route and with the Venezuelan people, which demands and deserves a real political change. Those who today lower their heads before the regime and participate in their farce, turn their backs on the will of the vast majority of the country. We, on the other hand, remain firm and convinced that political change comes, and we will continue to fight for a free Venezuela until we achieve it ».
A few weeks ago First Justice also expelled Governor Alberto Galíndez from his ranks for, among other things, having accepted a different nomination than the party for the May 25 elections. From the National Directorate, the attachment to the defense of the results of the July 28, 2024 election was ratified and, consequently, it was agreed not to participate due to the lack of electoral and political guarantees.
