He explained that the child was born with a congenital cataract disease, and the first years of his life the relatives did not realize it, it had not been detected until he arrived at school, where the teacher observed that the child had to glue his head from the desk to see. And it was in the year 2020, where the child’s condition was detected.
He stated that at that time, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the family could not do anything and the child’s case worsened until he completely lost his vision and it was not until recently that, in a presidential activity, the grandmother He sent him a letter explaining the case and the coordination was immediately made through the Presidential Office.
“All the coordinations were made, the child was cared for, he was evaluated and later, the operation was performed on both eyes, and satisfactorily, the child recovered his vision, he saw again. It was something miraculous”, highlighted the first combatant, Cilia Flores.
He said that it is something that is sometimes not known, but that the Bolivarian Government attends to meticulously every time it carries out government work on the street, “there are thousands of letters that we receive in activities or walking, they send it to you as president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, myself or any minister and we satisfactorily serve them,” he said.
He welcomed President Maduro’s first program called Con Maduro+, considered it a good debut and stated that it will be very impressive in the national territory.
Sandra Vargas, Luis Manuel’s grandmother, thanked President Nicolás Maduro for the support given and said she was happy because the boy can now see, studies without any problems and can go out and play with his friends.
