The fire that started in La Floresta quickly spread to the Costa Azul resort. In total, some 30 hectares were affected, but since it was a field fire, there are no reports of damaged houses.
The flames were extinguished during the night but the cooling tasks are maintained, benefited by the rains that took place in the morning.
Circulation along the Interbalnearia Route is already under normal conditions.
The causes that started this fire are unknown.
