A total of 500,000 voters were elected as polling station members for a total of 84,323 polling stations. They must be in charge of the electoral process in which a total of 24 million 760 thousand 62 Peruvians and foreigners have been summoned.

WHAT ARE THE FUNCTIONS OF THE BOARD MEMBERS?

These are the functions that the table members must assume:

• Check that the ONPE material is in good condition.
• Set up the polling station.
• Paste the list of voters on the door of the classroom and the list of candidates in the secret chamber.
• Write “Did not vote” next to the names of people who did not attend.
• Count the number of people who voted and the number who did not vote.
• Count the votes.
• Fill in the ballot paper with legible letters and numbers.

HOW MUCH WILL TABLE MEMBERS BE PAID FOR THE 2022 ELECTION?

The National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) announced that for these 2022 Regional and Municipal Elections, each of the board memberswho participate in the election day of October 2, 120 soles.
