Residents of affected areas in Minas Gerais municipalities, according to addresses identified by the Civil Defense, can request the withdrawal until April 14. Residents in the affected areas in Petrópolis (RJ), also with addresses identified by the municipal Civil Defense, can request the withdrawal until May 2. Italva workers have until May 3.
It is necessary to have a positive balance in the FGTS account and not have withdrawn for the same reason in a period of less than 12 months. The maximum amount for withdrawal is R$ 6,220.00.

The request can be made through the FGTS application, option Meus Saques, on the cell phone, without the need to go to an agency.
When registering the request, it is possible to indicate a financial institution account to receive the amounts, free of charge.
The application is available for download on digital platforms and is compatible with Android and IOS operating systems.
After downloading the application and filling in the registration information, the beneficiary must look for the option “My withdrawals”, select “Other withdrawal situations – Public calamity” – and access the city. Then, you must forward the following documents: photo of identity document and proof of residence in the name of the worker, issued up to 120 days before the declaration of calamity.
The beneficiary must then select the option to credit the amount to the account. The deadline for returning the analysis and crediting the account, if the withdrawal is approved, is five working days.
Accepted documents are: identity card, driver’s license or passport; proof of residence in the name of the worker, such as an electricity bill, water bill or other document received by mail, issued up to 120 days before the declaration of calamity; marriage certificate or public deed of stable union, if the proof of residence is in the name of a spouse or partner.
