Fernando Lugo remains critical but stable affirms Querey

Jorge Querey, a national senator for the Guasu Front, and Fernando Lugo’s family doctor, reported that the former president remains critical but stable. He detailed that he received multiple interventions in the last few hours.

“We are going through a critical situation due to the expansion of bleeding. With the specialists, a first attempt was made to make a diagnosis to rule out chronic lesions and carry out endovascular treatment. Taking into account the amount of blood, it compresses the veins, which is why this treatment could not be done. We had an increase in bleeding, for which the neurosurgeon intervened, the cleaning procedure was done to try to close the affected blood vessels, ”he explained.

Due to this situation, Querey announced that they will give two lectures a day on Lugo’s state of health, the next one between 6 and 7 p.m. “All organs are affected and that has been stabilized. The work plan is to continue with the same scheme. We will have evaluations in 48 to 72 hours. According to the changes we will report twice a day. When we stabilize it it will be every 24 hours,” he commented.
