According to the president of the National Federation of Motor Vehicle Distribution (Fenabrave), José Maurício Andreta Júnior, the results for 2022 reproduced, to a certain extent, the numbers achieved in the previous two years. “Over the last three years, the market has seen practically the same volume [de vendas]”, he emphasized during the presentation of this balance sheet.

Forecasts

For this year, according to him, the information available so far shows that sales should maintain this level. The expectation is that the sale of cars and trucks will repeat what was achieved last year. For motorcycles, Fenabrave forecasts a growth of 9% in registrations.

However, Andreta said that the numbers could be revised in the next three months, depending on external factors, such as the War in Ukraine and the situation of covid-19 in China, and also on the economic decisions of the new government. “Do you see stock market fluctuations [de valores], dollar. Everything is oscillating. Very difficult to design something at this point in time,” she pointed out.
